A beloved caramel-based treat has returned to stores across the UK years after it was discontinued.
Following a limited return in 2023, Caramac was quickly pulled from the shelves by Nestlé after more than 60 years of production.
The move left fans heartbroken, with many hailing the it as 'the best ever' chocolate bar - but now, it seems the sweet treat is making a comeback.
The nostalgic favourite is now available in packs of three costing £1 at Heron Foods, which has more than 340 locations nationwide.
This means many shoppers across the UK will have the chance to indulge in the caramel goodness once again.
Caramac's return has sparked excitement among fans, with many taking to Hot Deals UK to share their enthusiasm over the unexpected relaunch.
One site user said: 'Heaven in a bar. Just wonderful. I don’t have one for ages, then I get one and remember just how great they are.'
A second user reminisced: 'I love Caramac, it reminds me of my childhood.'
However, some fans were left dubious over the chocolate bar's comeback, with saying: 'Not how I remember it tasted.'
Another wrote: 'Yeah I'm not falling for that again. I bought a bunch when it was it originally discontinued....then it came back.'
They added: 'I'm not buying another bunch, just for it to be resurrected a second time.'
While it's unclear how long Caramac will remain available this time around, shoppers are advised to stock up while they can.
For fans who are unable to access a Heron Foods store, there is still hope, as some have pointed out that Cadbury Caramilk, which debuted in the UK in 2021, is similar in taste.
A golden blend of white chocolate and caramelised milk powder, the sweet treat has been hailed as a worthy alternative for those missing Caramac, reports Metro.
It comes as a popular chocolate bar is now available in a surprising new flavour, but thoughts on the treat are divided.
Snickers, first developed in Chicago in 1930, is now available in the UK in a coffee flavour, according to Instagram page @newfoodsuk.
The sweet treat has built a cult following with its nougat, caramel, peanuts, and milk chocolate recipe - but the new version, available at World Snacks UK, has received mixed opinions.
The caption read: Brand new Coffee Snickers! Wow, now this is perfect! We love Snickers and love coffee, so this combo is a win-win! We got this from the UK website @newfoodsuk'.
While the account appeared pleased with the new flavour, others had a different opinion.
Taking to the comment section, one upset chocolate lover wrote: 'Oh no, that's so wrong'.
A second added: Oh goodness NO,' with a series of exclamation marks and sick face emojis.
